There’s a new breed of woman emerging in 2026.

She’s educated.

She’s accomplished.

She climbed the ladder.

She collected the titles.

She became dependable, successful, and really good at carrying a lot.

And now?

SHE WANTS HERE LIFE BACK..

Not because she couldn’t make it in corporate.

Because she did.

She spent the first half of her life proving what she could accomplish.

Now she’s asking a completely different question:

What could I build if I stopped using all of my gifts to build someone else’s vision?

She wants slower mornings.

More ownership of her time.

Work that actually means something to her.

Income that isn’t completely attached to a paycheck.
The freedom to create, build, travel, rest, mother, lead, and LIVE.

She isn’t starting over.

She’s starting from experience.

She’s taking the knowledge, skills, relationships, mistakes, expertise, and wisdom she spent 10, 15, even 20 years acquiring…

…and turning them into something that belongs to her.

A business.
A digital product.
A tool.
A platform.
A community.

This isn’t a midlife crisis.

It’s a MIDLIFE AWAKENING

The first half was about becoming who the world told her she could be.

The second half is about becoming who she actually wants to be.

And I think we’re about to see a whole generation of women make that shift.

And am all for it, lets redefine success for ourselves not what society has defined for us?

Are you coming????

Thankyou ladies, each one of your stories has inspired me

For a long time, I thought I had to choose which version of myself belonged online…

The woman who loves God.

The mother raising three boys.

The corporate woman working her 9–5.

The entrepreneur with more ideas than she knows what to do with.

The woman trying to take care of her body, face her finances and build a life that actually feels like hers.

But my life does not fit into one perfectly organized box…

And maybe yours doesn’t either.

That is why I created Inside the Grit Boss Mind.

This is where I will share the honest journey behind motherhood, faith, wellness, money, business and what I am building each week—including the mistakes, doubts and moments when I want to quit.

No hype.

No pretending to have everything figured out.

Just a woman learning to stop hiding behind ideas and stay with something long enough to see what it can become.

My first letter is now live:

“Pull Up a Chair…There Is Room for You Here.”

Read it, subscribe and come take your seat at the table.

Because the question is not whether you know everything…

The question is whether you will keep showing up long enough for the people who need what you carry to find you.

Every year around this time, I feel like life starts settling back into a rhythm.

The backpacks are packed🎒...

School routines are back...

The house gets a little quieter during the day...

And for a moment, it feels like we can finally breathe again.

But if I'm being honest...

Being a working mom has stretched me in ways I never imagined.

There are days I'm giving my best at my job..

Building a business before work, during lunch breaks, after the kids go to bed...

While also trying to show up consistently and build a personal brand.

Some days I feel like I'm making progress.

Other days I wonder if I'm giving enough to any of those roles.

Am I present enough as a mom?

Am I doing enough in my business?

Should I be posting more?

Should I be resting more?

It's a constant battle between ambition and motherhood.

But as we step into the last quarter of the year, I'm choosing to look at this season differently.

Not with pressure...

Not with comparison...

But with intention.

One focused quarter.
One step at a time.
One day at a time.

Because maybe we don't need to do everything...

Maybe we just need to stay faithful to what God has placed in front of us today.

To all the working moms chasing a dream while raising little humans...

I see you. ❤️

Now tell me...

As we head into the last quarter of the year, what's the ONE thing you're choosing to focus on?

For a long time, I avoided talking about this.

A business I poured my heart into didn't work out the way I hoped, and I was left carrying debt that felt heavy, discouraging, and honestly, a little embarrassing.

But I've realized that hiding from it won't change it.

So today, I'm choosing something different.

First, lets be besties🥰 you will be cheering me on Nelius Wangungu | Digital Content Creator

I'm documenting my journey as I pay off this debt by building digital products, creating AI tools, and generating income through affiliate marketing with products I genuinely use and believe in.

I don't have all the answers. I'm simply committed to taking action every single day and sharing the wins, the setbacks, and everything in between.

This isn't just about becoming debt-free. It's about proving that one decision, one product, one customer, and one day at a time can completely change your future.

If you're also paying off debt, rebuilding your finances, or creating a life beyond your 9-to-5, I'd love to have you on this journey.

Follow along Nelius Wangungu | Digital Content Creator and let's build our way to financial freedom together. 💛

Nobody prepares you for this brutal transition.

What are your thoughts on AI, should you be concerned about your job?

Im curious, lets talk...

What are the things you can do to be ready, so you don't have to be ready?🤔🤔

One thing God has been teaching me lately is that being in a waiting season doesn't mean God has forgotten you.

David was anointed to be king while he was still a shepherd boy, yet he didn't step into the throne immediately.

Instead, he went back to tending sheep, serving faithfully, fighting battles, and trusting God's timing.
Can you imagine knowing God's promise over your life and then having to wait years for it to happen?

The waiting wasn't punishment.

The waiting was preparation.

I think many of us have prayed for something, a breakthrough, a business, healing, restoration, financial freedom, clarity, a new opportunity, and we're wondering why it's taking so long.

But what if God is doing a deeper work in us before He does the work around us?

In this season, I'm learning that waiting doesn't mean sitting still.

It means continuing to pray, continuing to serve, continuing to grow, continuing to prepare, and continuing to trust even when you don't see immediate results.

Because if God gave us the promise today, would we be ready to steward it tomorrow?

Some scriptures that have been encouraging me this season:

📖 Psalm 27:14 "Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord."

📖 Isaiah 40:31 "But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength..."

📖 Habakkuk 2:3 "For the vision is yet for an appointed time... Though it tarries, wait for it; because it will surely come."

Keep showing up.

Keep being faithful.

Keep trusting.

God is often preparing you for the promise while He is preparing the promise for you. ❤️

I have been dealing with some uncomfortable truths lately!

Up until last year Dec, i was running an event space and i made a tough decision to close it!

I have the venue for three years, and though i enjoyed and was happy providing a space to my community, it was taking away to much from my family.

I couldn't keep up with being a mom to my boys and running the demanding start up.

From operations, ceo mode, marketing...

It was one tough decision that i had not sat down really and allowed myself to deal with what it meant.

So lately, i havd been searching my soul as i move forward and i knew to step into what God wants me to do next, i had to allow closure to happen not just physically but also spritual and mentally.

Saying it out loud and talking about it has somehow fulfilled that for me and want this new chapter to be of transparency, no shame or guilt.

Im excited on what is coming as i allow God to direct my path!

What true are you dealing with today?
