Holiday Closing Notice / Curbside Schedule Adjustment:
City of Smyrna offices will be closed in observance of Veterans Day on Monday, November 11. Public Safety remains operational and the only adjustment to the curbside sanitation/recycling schedule will be that there will be no yard waste / large item collection the week of November 11. Monday, November 4 will be the last yard waste / large pick up until the week after the Veterans Day Holiday.

Recap from earlier, Oct. 24, 10:25 am: A major water outage occurred due to a contractor incident at 3065 South Cobb Drive, between Concord Rd & Church St/Rd. Our water crews swiftly attended to the situation.

Update Oct., 24 1:20 pm: Water has been restored to the area.

Oct. 24., 10:25 am: We have a major water outage due to a water main being hit by a contractor at 3065 South Cobb Drive. This is between Concord Rd & Church St / Church Rd. Water crews are on site and currently isolating the water line. If your water is interrupted, please be patient as we are working as quick as possible. We will keep you updated on the situation.

Looking to become a safer driver? Smyrna Parks and Recreation will be offering a NSC Defensive Driving Course at the Smyrna Community Center. This course will provide participants knowledge and safe driving techniques that can be applied to help prevent collisions and traffic violations. All participants must attended both evening classes to complete the course. Upon satisfactory completion, participants may be eligible for a discount on their auto insurance premium.
