Matthew 7:7 NLT: “KEEP ON asking, and you will receive what you ask for. KEEP ON seeking, and you will find. KEEP ON knocking, and the door will be opened to you.
Sharing this via Kevin Mullens (), it really resonated with me today, hope it blesses you too... 🙌🏾
As long as you can live with less than God’s best, you will.
You have to get sick and tired of being sick and tired before you will aggressively pursue God’s Best. You have to have a holy dissatisfaction with mediocrity before you can experience all that God has purposed for you. It won’t happen just because you pray or read the Bible. If you don’t pursue it, you won’t get it.
Things don’t get better without effort. We have to seek to find, knock to get the door opened, and ask before we receive (Matt. 7:7). We must raise our sights and aim higher. Most people are shooting at nothing and hitting it every time.
Jeremiah offers a winning formula: “Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you. And ye shall SEEK me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with “all your heart.”
I’ve had people tell me they prayed and believed but that nothing happened. The key is, we have to SEEK with ALL our hearts. That’s the missing element. We have to reach that threshold where we won’t live with anything less than God’s best. Stop lowering your expectations. You will never receive God’s best until you become completely DISSATISFIED with second best.
