Though we may be far from our loved ones, we are still part of the incredible SAFFA family right here in the USA. Please join us for the Greatest SAFFA Christmas Party/Kersfees Kuier in the United States, ever! 🌲

Bring your friends and family and settle in at our beautifully decorated Christmas table, where we will start off the day with an short Christmas Service and traditional english and afrikaans Christmas Carols.

Please bring a dish to share and your own drinks and enjoy a Christmas feast with the festive spirit and plenty of true South African traditional dishes, cuisine and cheer.

After dinner, Santa Claus will make an appearance to deliver presents early this year!

After the formalities, we will take the festivities up a notch with a lekker Vastrap Sokkie to dance the night away! Well, up to 9pm. 💃🕺🏽

Red Top Mountain has accommodation available if you would like to stay for the weekend.

We can't wait to celebrate Christmas with all of you, surrounded by our fellow South Africans, even though we may be far from home. Come share in the joy! Afrikaners is plesierig!

As President of the South African Chamber of Commerce in the USA (SACCUSA), I had the privilege of meeting with Nerisha Jairaj, the Executive Director of the South African Footwear and Leather Export Council (SAFLEC). SAFLEC plays a pivotal role in promoting the export of South African footwear and leather products to the United States. Their commitment to excellence and innovation has positioned South Africa as a competitive player in the global footwear industry.

At SACCUSA, we are deeply committed to supporting the export of South African products to the USA, and our support of SAFLEC is a testament to this dedication. SACCUSA in partnership with the Department of Trade, Industry, and Competition (DTIC) at the South African Embassy, proudly supported the South African Pavilion at the Atlanta International Shoe Show. This prestigious event, has been a cornerstone of the footwear industry for over 80 years.

We look forward to continuing our collaboration with SAFLEC and other key stakeholders to strengthen the presence of South African footwear in the U.S. market, driving economic growth and promoting the exceptional craftsmanship that South Africa has to offer.

South Africans abroad who want to vote in South Africa’s upcoming election must be registered to vote before the proclamation of the election by President Cyril Ramaphosa.

To be eligible to register to vote if you live abroad, you must:

• Be a South African citizen
• Be at least 16 years old (you must be at least 18 to vote)
• Have a South African ID – either a green barcoded ID book or ID smartcard or a valid temporary ID certificate
• Have a valid South African passport
