Most of us stop looking in the mirror long before we stop using it.

We tie the tie without looking. We brush the teeth while scanning the closet. We move through the morning routine on muscle memory while our eyes track somewhere else. The mirror in our home becomes furniture we walk past on the way to the bathroom. And somewhere in that efficiency, we stop checking on the person who lives inside it.

This week on Open Mic Night, we're talking about the mirror. And the man who finally caught his own reflection out of the corner of his eye one afternoon and didn't recognize the version of himself that was standing there.
