🫡 Happy Father’s Day to my late godfather, Barry Ransom. Our time together was short, but meaningful. He and my mom dated for a time, and even after they went their separate ways, they stayed in contact because of me—because I was just that cool of a kid. ☺️

He saw a little girl who needed a father figure, and he became that for me—from 11th grade until his passing in 2007.

He passed just a few months after my mom, and that loss was heavy. Still, his love and presence left a mark on my life that will never fade.

His memory lives on forever.

Daddies matter—biological or not.
