Missed the last train.
Now you’re out there.
Cold.
Lost.
Nothing makes sense.
Wrong turns.
No direction.

You can’t lose anyone.
And it just keeps getting worse.
Cars flying past.
No one slowing down.
Even the GPS doesn’t help.
You try to figure it out.
Walk?
Cab?
At some point,
you’re just guessing.
But you keep moving.
Because you have to.

Maybe you should’ve taken a cab.
