According to its analysis, Napster pays the highest rate at $0.019 per stream, followed by Jay-Z's Tidal at $0.0125 and Apple at $0.00735 per stream. As it pertains to music there are 2 types of royalites Performance & Mechanical.
Performance royalites are monitored and paid by ASCAP, BMI & SESAC.
Mechanical royalites are paid by Harry Fox Agency, Media Reports & MediaNet.
