Meet 2x Emmy Award Winning Reporter La'Tasha Givens!

It all started when La'Tasha Givens was chosen to deliver the morning announcements over the PA system in elementary school. She knew then she loved public speaking and being a voice for others.

La'Tasha is a currently a freelance journalist working at WXIA-11Alive News in Atlanta.

She Began Her Broadcasting Career At WCTV In Tallahassee, FL. As a reporter /anchor. From there she moved to Oklahoma and began anchoring the 9 o'clock news on Freedom 43 and was Weekend Evening Anchor on KFOR NewsChannel 4.

La'Tasha loves serving her community through various organizations like The Children's Center, HOPE Worldwide, Oklahoma HIV Planning Council, Habitat for Humanity, and the Junior League of Atlanta.

Before working in television news, she worked in public relations. La'Tasha is a graduate of Eastern Michigan University.

As a spiritual person, she believes it is important to set an example for young woman. She enjoys volunteering, cooking, spending time with friends and family, and watching movies that either make her either laugh or cry. Follow her an all social media.

27 years ago today I was From a teenager until now, I’ve worked hard to live a life pleasing to the Lord. It’s always been important to me to walk the talk and truly live out out my faith in action.

It hasn’t always been easy. I’ve turned down opportunities that haven’t aligned with my faith. I chose to pray for people instead of clapping back. I’m just as kind to those who don’t like me as I am to those I love without them even knowing the difference. I’ve taken a public stand for abstinence.
I work hard to be a submissive wife even when it’s not popular. We try to limit ungodly influences on our children and we are selective with who we spend time with.

I say all this to say being a is not always blissful but it’s worth it for the ultimate sacrifice that was made for me. Thank you to all of you who have been part of my journey and spiritual growth over the years. Here’s to more decades.
