The Winder Housewife

Hi, my name is Octavia! Before I started my financial services business, I was on medical leave from work for six weeks. I knew at the beginning of 2018 that I wanted make some improvements in my life, but I wasn't quite sure of what to do or how I was going to make these changes. I'm a Business Analyst by profession. For those of you who don't know me well or know my story, it took me 13 years post my undergraduate studies to get this position. I’ve always loved working with and helping people. However, there are limitations and, at this point of my life, building a legacy for my family is very important to me.

Before going on medical leave, I was working crazy hours, and I was under a tremendous amount of stress. I hardly had time for myself. Many things lacked, and I became so unorganized. Sometimes I would even forget to eat! Even when I was home, I was too tired to interact with my husband which was totally unfair to him. Something definitely had to change! I had to put things in perspective. My downtime allowed me to realize that my husband, our family, and my peace are very important. There is only one me, so I have to take care of my mind, body, and spirit.

Two years and a half years later I have taken a MAJOR leap of faith by walking away from my job after 14 years! I am now a licensed Life Insurance Agent, and I love what I do! It's a blessing to be a blessing! I love helping people, and helping people to achieve their financial goals will always be a good thing! It's a wonderful thing! Because of my business opportunities, it’s allowed me to take the necessary steps to improve my own financial situation which is why I’m so passionate about helping others. I’m expanding my financial services business and looking to connect with people who need to get their finances lit, protect their families and assets, and/or want to join me in business. I'm grateful for the connections that I've made and for the lives that have been positively impacted thus far!
