This week's delightful Behind the Swipe guest is Betsy Morris -- a yogi, logophile, and lover of God with a passion for health and wholeness. When not exercising her body and soul, Betsy enjoys girl trips, the discipline of journaling, and eating dark chocolate with a glass of red wine, which she insists is medicinal.

A recent empty nester, Betsy is the divorced mother of 3 human children and the dog mom of one golden-doodle who’d prefer to Netflix-and-chill than join Betsy for a run. Her University of Texas psychology degree and a Master’s in Social Work underlie her compassion for women struggling to reinvent themselves following the end of a long-term marriage.

Betsy and her adorable ‘doodle live in San Antonio, Texas where Betsy does her own yard work and tries not to overthink everything.

When you're feeling lovesick and blue, it's seldom "romance" that makes things all better again. Take your time. See a therapist. Be gentle with yourself. And when you're ready, don't settle for less than you should.

So now you can subscribe to our weekly podcasts as well as share full episodes with anyone you think might find them meaningful, whether they are considering dating online, have already taken the plunge, or they are a friend (or parent!) that could use a little encouragement after the end of a long term marriage or relationship.

A relationship with someone who has Narcissistic Personality Disorder isn't one that’s going to flourish or thrive, but that doesn’t mean YOU can’t heal and move on to better things.
💔 💔 💔
Real "Narcissism" is about more than an egocentric know-it-all who doesn’t value what you bring to the table. It’s a complicated and insidious disorder that causes harm to a partner or victim even after that relationship comes to an end.
❤️‍🩹 ❤️‍🩹 ❤️‍🩹
Episode 28 features therapist Hilary Woodman (), who works with survivors healing from the after-effects of Narcissistic Abuse Syndrome and how to move forward a stronger and wiser person with an understanding of what to do differently the next time, and what signs to watch out for.
🌱🪴🌳
If you’ve previously been in a relationship like this, how did you get out, and what do you look for NOW to avoid choosing a Narcissistic partner?
