It’s never easy to say goodbye, so I’ll say, “Until we meet again.” You were our provider, protector, and rock, reminding us to finish what we started. Now, you’ve passed the torch with grace. Well done, Pops.

No matter what life threw our way, we faced it together because you taught us resilience. You showed us how to walk in our truth and never let past struggles hold us back. Your lessons will guide us through the most challenging days ahead.

The sun rose on your journey on October 21, 1931, and set on October 1, 2024. You spent 64 beautiful years with the love of your life, Mother Griffin and your legacy will forever live on through us. Rest easy, Dad—we love you deeply.

We will share the homegoing information with our extended family and friends here once it is confirmed. Thank you to everyone who has reached out with love and support during this time—it means more than words can express.

A special thank you to the staff at Cornerstone Hospice in Ocoee, FL, for the exceptional care you provided to our family. Your kindness comforted us during these difficult moments; we can’t thank you enough.

This month, we were asked to celebrate someone relevant to our content by decorating our classroom bulletin boards in their honor and sharing them with the entire school. Given that 97% of our students identify as Hispanic, we highlighted author and animator David Heredia, creator of Heroes of Color.

Our theme, Art & Animation: The Gateway to Literacy, honors his work and his mission to empower our youth to dare to be different, showing that learning to read can be fun and creative. Learn more about his inspiring journey and follow him on social media!

1. I find people like you lonely and without a life, so I have no use for you.

2. I don't investigate nonsense.

3. If you are trying to steal from me, you're just practicing. And if you do get some money, let me know how you got it.

4. Trying to slander my name or character? I own my nonsense and walk in my truth. If I said it, then I meant it.

5. Calling me names is comical because I know who I am. Plus, I've been called names that will make your hair curl.

So, if you want to extort or aggravate me, you will frustrate yourself.
