We're a little behind in our posting, but wanted to share that "1912: The Forsyth County Expulsion and its Aftermath" our podcast with Atlanta History Center took home The Atlanta Press Club Award of Excellence for Podcasting!

A small but mighty team came together to make it happen including our amazing co-host Closer Look with Rose Scott, the wonderful AHC Digital Storytelling team of Kristian Weatherspoon, Tiffany Harte, and writer/co-host Sophia Dodd and the production team Michael Pietrobon, Linda Spears and Mike Voulgaris.

Sincere thanks to the WABE team for distributing the series and getting the story out there. You can listen to the five part series on their website or wherever you get your podcasts!

69 years ago today, the brutal murder of Emmett Till became a catalyst for the Civil Rights movement. Last fall I produced/edited this short piece highlighting the opening of Emmett Till Interpretive Center's traveling exhibit at Atlanta History Center.

Atlanta was the next to last stop on the tour, but you can visit it virtually.

Well our work is now officially in The Dump!

Pleased and proud to report we created the films prominently featured inside Pulitzer Prize-winning author Margaret Mitchell’s re-opened home in midtown Atlanta (which she affectionately referred to as “The Dump”) as part of Atlanta History Center’s new exhibit: "Telling Stories. Gone with the Wind and American Memory.”

The Margaret Mitchell House and exhibit open to the public July 10th. Drop by and get your history on!

A 30-minute documentary film produced by Atlanta History Center that explores the history of the monument from all angles, including the origin of the carving, the complicated relationships between the carving and contemporaneous historical events, and the key players who worked for its completion.....

Art has an amazing way of connecting us and sometimes dividing us. Working with Marist School, Atlanta to celebrate the installation of their sculpture "Synagoga and Ecclesia in Our Time" was a real honor. We interviewed several wonderful people and had a chance to meet artist Joshua Koffman Sculpture, too.
