Finally finished reading She Spawn issue #5. This series definitely made me a Jessica Priest fan. Gail Simone did a great job at characterizing her.

Her being an apprehensive mother and healing through it by the end of the series was beautiful to read. Yet at the same time the series had genuinely funny moments that made me laugh out loud. “cocoa cub” will never not make me die laughing.

Highly recommend this for new and old Spawn fans.The new initiative with the Spawn IP has been solid.

Terminal makes me feel like the closest I’ll ever get to traveling backwards in time to read 90s comics as they released. Loving the cast diversity!

Dog this episode of Lanterns is some of the best writing I’ve ever seen. The amount of quotable lines with dual meanings is amazing. Making the black experience work within the setting of sci fi just reinforces that we can exist in every setting.
