48 hours in Knoxville, Part 1 ✨
I checked into Embassy Suites | Downtown Knoxville Hotel and spent the day exploring some of Knoxville’s hidden gems. From exploring at Baker Creek Preserve to taking in the views at Meads Quarry, grabbing a delicious meal at POTCHKE , and ending the evening at Tern Club , this city definitely surprised me.

Stayed in a silo on a farm near Chattanooga, Tennessee this weekend and honestly, it was the reset I needed.

A little unplugging, quality time with my kids, and a reminder that you don’t need a big vacation to create better work life balance.

If you’re looking for a unique stay in Tennessee or an easy weekend getaway from Atlanta, this one is worth adding to your list.

I finally checked out Halidom Eatery and now I see why everyone’s talking about it 👏🏾

One thing I loved is that everyone in your group can find something they like. From Philly cheesesteaks and lobster rolls to tacos, wings, and more, there are multiple restaurants all under one roof.

And if you’re looking for something fun to do with the family, Halidom is hosting a Juneteenth Celebration that’s packed with activities including a live DJ, face painting, music bingo, drinks, and more.

Good food, good vibes, and something for everyone.

I’ll be honest… my weekends have been looking a lot different lately 🌻

Instead of spending my entire weekend at home recovering from the work week, I’ve been making it a point to get out and explore more.

This weekend I stayed on a farm in Tennessee surrounded by open fields, grazing animals, wildflowers, and rolling countryside views. I spent time feeding animals, walking the property, and just slowing down for a change.

As someone who works all week, these little road trips have become my way of creating better work life balance. It’s a reminder that you don’t always need a big vacation or PTO to enjoy life.

Sometimes all you need is a weekend, a full tank of gas, and somewhere new to explore.

Tennessee has been full of surprises lately ✨🚗🌻
