Those of you who read the magazines will be familiar with Joshua Goodling. He is the person who wrote the devotionals for us. Joshua passed away a few days ago. This is a person that truly LIVED for Christ. He was diagnosed with terminal cancer at the age of 5 and given one week to live, but he lived about 50 more years. Joshua Goodling had an impact on many people, and he even received at least one letter from someone who was about to end their life and came across his website. If you want to find out more about him, here is his website. His legacy will live on because of those he influenced, and through his writings.
As I was looking for a devotion that will be fitting for the next issue I found one that was called One Life. Near the bottom, three paragraphs summarize Joshua's life - I added them to a photo from when Joshua spoke in Villa Rica.

Here is well deserving young lady we are featuring inside the July issue - Meet Faith Bush. She NEVER missed a day of school from Pre-K 4 though her senior year. And she finished with a 3.84 GPA, graduating from New Manchester High School - WELL DONE!

Some of you probably know Miss Vicci

We are going to do an article on Miss Vicci, who is retiring in just a few weeks after 38 years at the McDonald's on Fairburn Road at Hospital Drive. Does anyone have a quote we might be able to use about your experience with her as a customer or former employee? Depending on how many we get we may not be able to use all of them, but even so, this is a good chance to recognize someone for a pretty incredible feat.
