Thousands of songs have been played on this piano in the WGMI Live Preacher's Studio over the last 30+ years...so many memories. Hello friends,

It is with a heavy heart but clear mind that we are sending this to you today. For the last 29 years our family has had the privilege, honor, and at times burden, of operating WGMI 1440 in Bremen Georgia. We have been committed to broadcasting the Word of God in song and programming across West Georgia and East Alabama locally, as well as world wide on the internet.

Sadly, for many years it has been an absolute struggle to pay the bills and keep the doors open. No one has received an actual salary in many years, only some money for gas and time. Unfortunately financial support has been very difficult to come by, and in our country's current economic situation it has become even worse.

We have taken it as far as we can, and now the end of an era has come. This Sunday August 28, 2022 will be the last day of broadcasting for WGMI 1440am. After this day the station will be silent and no longer be on the air.

We thank our listeners and the wonderful people who have had broadcasts with us over the years, we will miss you. It has been an honor to serve God with you, and we wish you all the very best going forward.
