Short Film – Karma ft. Miriam McDonald (2005)

"Everyone is subject to the laws of Karma. 🔥"

Written and directed by Christina Vegas, this psychological short film stars Miriam McDonald (Degrassi’s Emma Nelson) and Clare Stone. The story follows two sisters, Samantha and Sara — one an abuser, the other her lifelong victim — whose toxic bond spirals into a cycle of vengeance and regret. When Sara’s revenge goes too far, she learns that some debts can’t be undone.

Premiering in 2005 under High C Productions, Karma was accepted into nine international film festivals and won “Best of the Fest” at the Rochester International Film Festival.
