ThomasMax Publishing

ThomasMax Publishing We are a small publishing house primarily catering to self-published authors. We do offer book deals if we see reasons to believe sales justify them.

ThomasMax is named for the owners' fathers, Max Clevenger and the late Thomas William Ward Sr. We are a small print-on-demand book publisher. We primarily cater to self-published authors but occasionally accept books for print without minimum-quantity purchases (such as Elizabeth Sinclair's "The Dreaded Synopsis") and we sponsor a contest in conjunction with the Southeastern Writers Association where we give away a "book deal" at its annual workshop.

Hallelujah, our website is back up. It needs a lot of updating, but at least the malware issue has been resolved. thomasmax.com is operational after at least a month out of commission.

07/05/2017

We have learned that our website issues are caused by malware infections, some Chinese company trying to redirect you to a site that sells knock-off fashions. The cost to clean it up is more than I want to pay, and should it happen that we require malware services to continue beyond the short term fix, we might take down our web presence. It's an ugly world.

06/30/2017

Our site host now has everything fouled up, no matter which site we host it takes you to incrediboy.com. I'm at a convention so it'll be next week before I can get it all straightened out. Please bear with us.

06/27/2017

Still working to get our website back up and running. It is the same with all websites hosted by IncrediBoy Productions, Inc. I thought perhaps we'd missed a payment or something, but it's a technical issue of some sort by our host. Hopefully we will get it resolved in the next day or two.

06/19/2017

Sorry to report our website (thomasmax.com) is down. We are working to rectify the situation and hope to be back up within this week.

Historic Oakland Cemetery, an iconic landmark east of downtown Atlanta, is the site of the grave of Margaret Mitchell. The cemetery's popular gift shop is now carrying Susan Lindsley's books related to Mitchell: "Susan Myrick of Gone With The Wind: An Autobiographical Biography" and "Margaret Mitchell: A Scarlett or a Melanie." Both books are also available through most booksellers, including Amazon.com. The Myrick biography is also available for borrowing on Amazon's KDP Select program.

Evelyn Nalley Gray ("The Proof is in the Pudding" is her other ThomasMax title along with several other published works) approached ThomasMax to print her family's memories of their 100-year reunion in 2014. The book is 166 pages long, hardcover, and 8.5 x 11 in size. If interested in obtaining a copy, contact Evelyn or us at ThomasMax.
