Hallelujah, our website is back up. It needs a lot of updating, but at least the malware issue has been resolved. thomasmax.com is operational after at least a month out of commission.
We have learned that our website issues are caused by malware infections, some Chinese company trying to redirect you to a site that sells knock-off fashions. The cost to clean it up is more than I want to pay, and should it happen that we require malware services to continue beyond the short term fix, we might take down our web presence. It's an ugly world.
Our site host now has everything fouled up, no matter which site we host it takes you to incrediboy.com. I'm at a convention so it'll be next week before I can get it all straightened out. Please bear with us.

Sheila S. Hudson's first two installments in the Classic City Murders series went to the printer today and should be ready for Christmas orders.
For those who don't know, Sheila Hudson was the winner of our ThomasMax "You Are Published" Contest at the Southeastern Writers Association Workshop in June. Her first two installments of "Classic City Murders" should be in print (and on Kindle and Nook) soon. Sheila is no newcomer to being published, including another series of murders called "Thursday Club Cozy Mysteries." These novella-format mysteries are available in e-book format only.

Author Jeffrey Felix, whose book "Guarding The Juice" about his prison-guard experiences with O.J. Simpson, was originally scheduled to appear on Entertainment Tonight on Wednesday. However, Mr. Felix just informed us that he will be taping the segment on Wednesday but it probably will not air until THURSDAY if you want to set your DVR or watch. Meanwhile, the book in both print form and Kindle edition should be available by the middle of next week.

Historic Oakland Cemetery, an iconic landmark east of downtown Atlanta, is the site of the grave of Margaret Mitchell. The cemetery's popular gift shop is now carrying Susan Lindsley's books related to Mitchell: "Susan Myrick of Gone With The Wind: An Autobiographical Biography" and "Margaret Mitchell: A Scarlett or a Melanie." Both books are also available through most booksellers, including Amazon.com. The Myrick biography is also available for borrowing on Amazon's KDP Select program.

ThomasMax Publishing received sad news today that Julian Anderson Williams, three-time published author with ThomasMax and author of several other books in addition to his long-time work as a newspaper columnist, passed away Dec. 29. Our sympathies to his widow Joann and their family. The photo shows Julian and Joann.
