🕊️ In Loving Memory of Malcolm-Jamal Warner 🕊️

We are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of the incredibly talented Malcolm-Jamal Warner on July 20th. Best known for his iconic role as Theo Huxtable on The Cosby Show, Malcolm-Jamal helped shape a generation of television viewers with his charm, wit, and heart. He wasn’t just an actor—he was a poet, musician, director, and a voice of inspiration for countless young Black men growing up in America.

His work extended far beyond the sitcom that made him famous. From powerful performances in Malcolm & Eddie, Reed Between the Lines, The Resident, and Accused, to his Emmy-winning narration and critically acclaimed jazz music, Malcolm-Jamal was a multidimensional artist who never stopped evolving.

Our deepest condolences go out to his family, friends, and fans worldwide. Thank you, Malcolm-Jamal, for the legacy you leave behind. Your light, your voice, and your impact will live on forever. 🕯️

✨ Giving Back Hits Different ✨

We recently had the absolute honor of speaking at M.D. Roberts School of the Arts for Career Day! Nothing brings us more joy than pouring into the next generation—especially when it comes to helping them see themselves as producers, not just consumers.

We talked about how to make money from social media, the difference between a content creator and a social media manager, and how to take ownership of your time and talents. These students were locked in—and grateful and smiling from the energy they brought to the room 💯

Big love to the amazing staff and counselors who made this day run like clockwork, and we thank you all for allowing Setting The Tone to be part of something so meaningful. 🙏🏾
