Great race this past Sunday April 27, 2014. Amazing weather, unlike the torrential downpour that happened last year! It rained so bad the race was cut short. The only thing was that the course was harder than everyone remembered! I kept hearing "Where did all these hills come from?" LOL...feels different when you have to do more than one lap, huh?

Southern Crescent Cycling is stepping up to raise money for a three year old newly diagnosed with cancer. Please donate if you can. Please share.

As a kid our Southern Crescent Cycling race team captain Jorge Collado had a scare with cancer. Last week Jorge approached some of us to see if we can help this young lady on her battle with this horrible disease. This week prior to any of of the rides, we will pass around a helmet for anyone that wants to contribute can do so. Any donations appreciated. If you can't be at any of the rides, feel free to leave the donation at either bike shop in Henry County. Epic Bikes Inc. or Trek Bicycle Store of Mcdonough.
