Through torrential Tokyo rain, Team USA rose to the challenge. Sha’Carri Richardson brought it home on the anchor, edging out Jamaica’s Jonielle Smith by just 0.04 seconds to secure gold in the women’s 4x100m relay. USA crossed the line in 41.75 seconds, Jamaica in 41.79, with Germany taking bronze.
