Dakota Contractors is overseeing the conversion of the former Truist Bank building. The signature second-story roof deck is already taking shape. For over 100 years, the Selig family has prioritized community service as a cornerstone of its commitment to Atlanta.

In 1959, with support from the Jewish Federation of Greater Atlanta, Ben Massell helped secure a new home in Midtown for the Morris Hirsch Clinic—a healthcare center offering outpatient medical and dental services to those unable to afford care. Today, that building is known as the Ben Massell Dental Clinic, renamed in honor of his leadership, support, and philanthropy.

Heartwood Powder Springs is a trailblazing apartment community in Powder Springs, Georgia. Selig Enterprises acquired the 28-acre site nearly two decades ago. As the area population grew—making it the fastest-growing in Cobb County—Selig reimagined the project into a vibrant 300-unit apartment community. Heartwood offers a range of one-, two-, and three-bedroom residences.

Heartwood’s thoughtful design reflects its mission to blend modern luxury with natural surroundings. The name “Heartwood” symbolizes growth and community, aligning with its goal to provide an idyllic lifestyle in a serene, picturesque environment.

In 1918, Ben Massell—grandfather of Steve Selig—founded Massell Properties, and over the next 35 years, he built more than 1,000 buildings across Atlanta. His work laid the foundation for what would become Selig Enterprises, with developments that helped shape some of the city’s most prominent areas, including Peachtree Road, West Peachtree Street, Ponce de Leon Avenue, and Pershing Point.

On March 20, 1105 West Peachtree along with The Office Bar, Emilio’s, and McCray’s Tavern hosted the inaugural First Round Ball Crawl, celebrating the start of March Madness. Midtown employees and residents enjoyed tasty bites and drinks at each stop, along with fun giveaways and plenty of college basketball action – both on-screen and in friendly competition. Thanks to everyone who joined us for this fantastic event!

Selig's own Kimberly Boardman was recognized for her outstanding performance as one of Atlanta's top commercial realtors over the past year.
