IDM is a DJ and Music Production school located in Atlanta, GA. IDM, located in the heart of Atlanta, was created with the purpose of educating and nurturing a community of electronic musicians.
Technology has enabled anyone to create incredible music and soundscapes from a computer, and in recent years, that technology has developed immensely. Innovative musicians and software companies have been working to push the barriers of music creation beyond traditional instruments. By studying coursework at IDM, you will be given the knowledge and skill set to not only create brilliant electronic music, but also find your own style and voice in today’s evolving music industry.
Mission: IDM’s mission is to educate and inspire Atlanta’s most creative and driven producers, DJ’s, and electronic musicians.

TIP OF THE NIGHT: If you really want to learn how to DJ or produce to the next level, start by experimenting and just create rough ideas with whatever app or device you are using. Do not limit your starting point! We have learned that by just getting your hands dirty and pressing every button usually will show you what the app or device is doing. Hey, you can always reset your app or device to its default position and start over. Have fun learning!
