A new independent grocery destination has opened in Central Washington.

Roslyn Grocery has debuted its 5,000-square-foot flagship store in Cle Elum, Washington, serving as the anchor tenant of the new Suncadia Social mixed-use retail village.

The locally owned market features fresh local produce, artisan baked goods, regional wines and beers, plus a teaching kitchen designed to bring the community together.

Roslyn Grocery, a locally-owned independent market, will open a 5,000‑square‑foot flagship location in Cle Elum, Washington.

Lowes Foods is growing in the Charlotte market.

The grocer will open a new store in Kannapolis, North Carolina, on June 18 and has another location under construction in south Mooresville, slated to open in 2027.

The Kannapolis store will feature signature Lowes Foods experiences, including the Beer Den, Boxcar Coffee, Chicken Kitchen, Smokehouse and more.

Rosauers Supermarkets celebrated the grand reopening of its remodeled Walla Walla, Washington, store May 20, transforming the former Super 1 Foods location with expanded fresh offerings, local products and upgraded prepared foods.

New features include a wine auto-chiller, scratch bakery, sushi station, smokehouse, burrito and taco bar, expanded Huckleberry’s natural and organic department and more.

Rosauers held a grand reopening May 20 at 710 S. 9th Ave. in Walla Walla, Washington. The site was formerly operating as Super 1 Foods.
