Sautéed Chicken and Mushroom Pasta
Creamy Chicken Mushroom Pasta Delight
Ingredients:
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 pound chicken breast, thinly sliced
8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
1 small onion, chopped
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup chicken broth
1 cup heavy cream
1 teaspoon dried thyme
Salt and pepper to taste
12 ounces pasta, cooked
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Directions:
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chicken slices and cook until browned. Remove and set aside.
In the same skillet, add mushrooms, onion, and garlic. Sauté until mushrooms are browned.
Pour in chicken broth, heavy cream, thyme, salt, and pepper. Bring to a simmer.
Return chicken to the skillet and cook until sauce thickens.
Add cooked pasta and toss to coat evenly with the sauce.
Garnish with chopped parsley and serve warm.
