Christie’s auction house has launched The American Collector, featuring personal items from the estate of former President Jimmy Carter and First Lady Rosalynn Carter.

The online sale offers an intimate look at the Carters’ lives, including photographs from President Carter’s submarine school days, a handwritten love letter on White House stationery, and a painting he created near his Georgia cabin.

The auction is open through January 27.
