This is only ONE example of what emotional abuse looks like to a parent who has chosen no contact. Not the petty excuses being used by some adult kids who’re estranged, not someone choosing to sit in heartbreak over estrangement. There are Mothers being threatened, and mentally, emotionally and physically abused, even killed by their kids but it’s not being talked about!

This is only the latest and less vulgar+violent messages from my youngest son as of last week! It’s why I don’t give a damn what trolling adult kids come to my page and say, it’s why I don’t give a damn what men(boys) say on my page, it’s why I will never allow other mothers to tell me how to speak, not to curse, or imply mothers have done something to deserve abuse! This is why I will NEVER stop speaking up as a mom who has dealt with abuse for years and he still tries to agitate me! THIS is what I’ve dealt with for over 15 years alone because his dad has never stepped up, even when asked to do so by my husband! And I have forgiven over and over because I’m a “mom” and I should. Right?

Haven’t done this in a while but needed to address this for anyone who’s benefiting and being supported by this page. I recorded an episode 24: Have Black Moms Ruined Their Sons MONTHS ago and a few of you disappointingly decided to make it about race instead of listening to hear a different perspective or you HAD to state you were a “white mom” and “we’re all the same and dealing with the same”. This wasn’t an episode to exclude ANYONE! But some of you seem to lose your minds when I specifically state “black” this episode was based on a topic my guest and I wanted to address with our community for a SPECIFIC reason. It’s disappointing that some of you couldn’t for ONE moment not get offended or feel excluded. Now a Roz Mader is on Spotify with her comments, and here it is…another “mom” once again threatening to cancel or return my book because she took issue with ONE episode being about black moms!

Then we have Jody Carney, a Lisa from Oregon, a Mona, and a Kendra Mendonca: that went on Amazon purposely to leave bad reviews and lies because they were “put off by language” on my social media posts which has nothing to do with the book, A Mona lied and said the book was only for one specific race in which there’s nothing in the book that specifies that and some complained about it being too short. All to say I see some of you for EXACTLY who you are! As long as the message is centered around you, you’re fine, if I mention black you’re offended and the first thing some of you do is threaten my book, threaten to unfollow(which again just do it) “Reclaiming Your Identity” is a guide book that has helped thousands of moms around the world and there’s nothing you can do to minimize that nor is it a threat when you try to direct negativity to it! Just know all your negativity and nasty energy comes with your own karma and just proves…Some of you need to really heal and it’s quite apparent. But you will not stop the healing that other moms are here for and you damn sure won’t stop me! 💚
