For those of you who want to make your offer sound better than it is, might I offer a suggestion: Do NOT inflate the value of your offer then sell it for 99% less than the value. This discounts your offer entirely, and discredits the value of the offer.

For example, do not say this offer is valued at $5K but I'm selling it for $50. This is literally unbelievable and you sound like a snake oil salesman. Nobody believes your valuation, and now I think it's not even worth the $50.

Note: this does NOT apply to bundle deals that include contributions from multiple providers. I'm talking about individual offers.
