🌿 "This Is the Day" — A Morning Devotional 🌿
"This is the day which the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it." — Psalm 118:24 (KJV)
Take a deep breath. Feel that? That's life — a gift straight from the hand of God.
Before we let the weight of yesterday or the worries of tomorrow press on our hearts, the Lord is inviting us to pause and recognize today for what it truly is: a divine creation.
He made this day — crafted it with care — filled it with new mercies, unseen blessings, and opportunities for joy. Even if the skies are cloudy, even if our hearts are heavy, this day belongs to Him, and because of that, hope belongs to us.
➡️ "We will rejoice and be glad in it."
Notice that? It's a choice. Not based on how we feel, not based on what we see, but based on who He is.
Today, let's choose to:
✨ Rejoice — even if things aren't perfect.
✨ Be glad — even if we're waiting on breakthrough.
✨ Trust — that the same God who made this day holds us in His hands.
So as you step into today, remind yourself:
🕊️ "God made this day for me. I will meet it with joy, because He meets me with love."
Prayer:
Father, thank You for this day. Help me to rejoice in it, to see Your fingerprints on every moment, and to walk in the gladness of Your presence. Remind me that because You made this day, there is nothing in it that can separate me from Your love. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
