What’s up beautiful people.

It’s been a minute since i checked in and I’m sorry. We’ve been on a handful of vacations, school kicked back up, and been back on a 6-month sobriety journey (Might go for the long haul? Idk…. I love beer 🤣).

We’re currently 3-weeks in with some workouts and focus on health in there. Been doing my best to find the time and energy for a stream so I just wanted to say it’s not you, it’s me.

Tentative game plan is to start shifting focus back towards the end of the month with the annual foster home drive for the Calvary Children’s Home!

For those that continue to support, engage, and swing by when we are on, you are the real ones and appreciated more than you know!

Family tried something new this year and it’s been a blast!

Instead of a beach front condo for a week we have been spring hoppin’ in Florida. Snagged up a tiny home on an 8-acre farm within 20-30 minutes of several springs and we have been loving it!

When I say the pictures don’t do it justice, I mean it. These places are insane for diving, snorkeling, and just enjoying the day.

#1 so far is Ginnie Springs - insane spots!

Good afternoon GVT!

To all that may have been curious, the family and I are good!

Since the start of the year we have had work travel, the flu running rampant in the house (still is) and now we have the ole dreaded 2025 taxes to prepare as well.... Just been a very busy few weeks.

I have been thinking about everyone here and I appreciate any that continue to stick around while we have been gone for a few weeks.

Stark89 and I plan to run some duos this weekend to see if we still have it in us to win lol!

GVT!!! We did it again this year and in the 11th hour we were able to beat previous years fundraising! The wife and I just wrapped up getting the bags ready for drop off tomorrow morning at 9AM!!

We typically are able to be very specific on items that we buy but this year each kiddo has a hefty visa gift card, their favorite bags of candy, and some personalized notes to each of them.

These gift cards will allow each kid to get a shopping day with their respective house mother / father and they will be allowing them to get some gifts off their wish list.

Thank you to everyone that put forth an effort, donated, and helped make this a success yet again! A very special shout out to Dino Fernicola for his personalized solo charity games, Sara Mcknatt for her second annual Bruzzle for a cause raffle (which raised an insane amount!!), Clayton Whiten throwing down a challenge that allowed me to put an extra $200 towards the cause, and Kevin Houghton coming through with a big PayPal donation last week as well!! We raised just north of $8,500 this year and is something to be proud of as a group!

Merry Christmas to each of you and happy holidays! I hope you all have an amazing time with family & friends in the coming week.

Looking forward to yet another year of making Christmas a special time for these kids and maybe another shot at adding some additional folks in need in 2025!

Sup GVT!

I just wanted to take a second to give Sara Mcknatt a HUGE shoutout for organizing a raffle for the Calvary Children’s Home again for the second year in a row!

She will be posting the raffle on her group page sometime today or tomorrow and the raffle runs through 12/16 with all proceeds going straight to the Christmas fund!

If you have a significant other that is addicted to Brumate stuff, be sure to join the group and buy into the raffle as it’s only $3 an entry with unlimited entries! She’s got $700 worth of stuff in the prize pool and this is a good chance to give to the cause while maybe bringing home some extra Christmas gifts before the holidays.

Some days you fear what may come seems to always come suddenly and unexpectedly.

For those that have been around awhile in the GVT, we lost a good one yesterday, Christina Chaney. She suddenly passed away and has left a lot thinking about some of the good times during games and conversation they had with her.

If you had ever met Christina, she was always, ALWAYS, positive. Loved to joke around and attended FNC's religiously with us for years. She had recently changed professions and the last time we spoke she was excited about those future opportunities. She had not been around as much but she always knew she had a home here on the stream or within the community. She would sometimes send me the clip from a few years back on Shotguns only were she doused me in pellets w/ a one shot on the way into a building and all of the laughter from everyone in the party chat made me miss those times...

I have always feared this day, a day in which someone we all grew to know and become close to had their lives taken to soon and I can say... it's not a good feeling. We grow such valuable relationships within these streams / communities and I truly feel like I have lost a friend. The world is missing out on her positive and friendly personality today. To soon and so heart breaking.

She will forever be the one that introduced me to Marc Rebillet and the infamous Flamingo song / skit. If you have never watched it... do yourself a favor and go have a laugh in her memory tonight.

Please throw some prayers and love up for her kids and family tonight, may they have peace in the coming weeks.
