Consider this your deadline.

The application.
The email.
The first draft.
The website.
The video.
The proposal.
The thing you keep “working on” that is suspiciously starting to look like hiding. 😭

It does not need another week of thinking.

Make it exist. You can make it better later.

You have until midnight. Go. ✦

Being talented and being known for your talent are two different skill sets.

You need both.

Learn to talk about what you do without shrinking it, rambling, or hoping somebody else connects the dots.

Learn to walk into rooms and make relationships.

Learn to make it easy for people to remember you when an opportunity comes up.

Because unfortunately, the milkshake cannot market itself. 😭

If you know you’re good but you’ve been operating like the world is supposed to magically notice, DM me “VISIBLE.” Let’s fix that.

At some point you have to start asking who made the rule and why tf you’re still following it.

Not everything you were taught to want, tolerate, fear, prioritize or call “normal” deserves to come with you.

Some rules need to be broken.
Some need to be rewritten.
And some were stupid to begin with.

It Girls make their own. 🖤

Your current job is a circumstance, not an identity.

Some jobs are careers.
Some jobs are stepping stones.
Some jobs are simply funding the plot until the story gets good.

Don’t make a permanent decision about your potential based on a temporary chapter.

The job can pay the bills while you build what’s next.

Former/current party girls, I need you to defend the résumé in the comments.

What did being OUTSIDE teach you that genuinely helps you in your career now?

I’ll go first: ________.

09/07/2026

I’m officially retiring “fake it till you make it.”

I don’t want you pretending to be confident.

I want you doing enough scary things that you have evidence you can handle them.

I don’t want you pretending to know what you’re doing.

I want you doing it long enough to get good.

I don’t want you performing the identity.

I want you building it.

You don’t need to fake it till you make it.

Do it till it’s done. Then look at who you became along the way. ✦

If you’re ready to stop planning your next chapter and start building it, apply for 1:1 coaching through the link in my bio.

We need to stop calling every previous version of ourselves “cringe” and start checking her résumé. 😭

Because Party Girl You may have learned how to:

walk into rooms alone.
talk to strangers.
read social dynamics.
make people feel comfortable.
ask for access.
build relationships quickly.
and make herself memorable.

Those skills didn’t expire when the era did.

And I think there’s a bigger lesson in that:

Not every version of you needs to come with you. But something she learned probably should.

Your evolution doesn’t require you to discard every woman you’ve ever been.

Take her best skills.

Give them a new assignment.

What did an old version of YOU learn that could help the woman you’re becoming now? 👇🏽

And yes, apparently the club was professional development. Please update LinkedIn accordingly. 😭✦

Sometimes you’re simply the first person willing to ask:

“Wait…why do we believe this?”

Why was curiosity disrespectful?

Why were little girls assigned adult intentions?

Why did being “respectable” determine who deserved respect?

Why were women rewarded for being easy to deal with?

Why did romantic love automatically outrank every other kind?

You don’t have to reject everything you inherited.

But you do get to inspect it before you pass it on.

Some things are traditions.

Some things are wisdom.

And some things have simply gone unquestioned for too damn long.

Your turn: First in your bloodline to ________.

I want to hear the ones that would start an argument at Thanksgiving. 😭

The first version gives you something planning never can: evidence.

Now you know what works.
What doesn’t.
What needs to change.
And what you couldn’t have known until you started.

You don’t think your way into clarity. You move your way into it.

Make it. Then make it better.

09/06/2026

Your network is only as good as your ability to actually connect with people.

And one of the easiest ways to become unforgettable? Stop trying to be interesting and get genuinely interested.

People can tell the difference.

Charm opens doors. Curiosity keeps them open.

Welcome to Social Skills That Pay. Ep. 1 🥂

And yes, How to Win Friends & Influence People is still required reading.
