I was so excited to see Dr. Dennis Kimbro speak at the TSP Live Conference in Atlanta a few weeks ago.

Dr. Kimbro was one the the few national speakers that encourage me back in the early 90’s when I started my speaking and training full time career in 1994.

Dr. Kimbro, the author of Think And Grow Rich, A Black Choice was a student of the Great Napoleon Hill.

Dr. Kimbro words of encouragement propelled me to speak to hundred of thousands of people throughout the years. Helped me become an author and do for others what he help do for me. (See that I could touch lives and make a powerful impact on others.)

These two pictures represent 30 years of twi men inspiring, teaching and pouring into others. The 1st is me with Dr. Kimbro in Chicago in 1994. The second picture is me with Dr. Kimbro in 2024 in Atlanta.

Thank you Dr. Dennis Kimbro, you are a treasure and you truly made a difference in this young man’s life that grow up in the inner city of Chicago! EJ ‘Edge’Bassette

(Part 6) The Move: There are times in your life when you need help. That’s when you need a guide to come in and help direct you to where you going we all have points in our lives where we need that motivation and inspiration to come from the outside of us to help us. See what we can’t see.

This happened to me five years ago when my wife called for me to step up and be the man that she knew I could be, and the man that I have been. I hope this resonates with you like I did with me.

(Part 4.) (The MOVE) Thank you for following this journey and sharing your comments. This moving journey started 4 1/2 years ago in 2019 when we sold our house in Olympia Fields, Ill after living there for 20 years. (This is pictures of our old house in 2019)

We packed up within 6 months and moved to new city to start a new part of our lives. We had been married 35 years at the time and had raised 3 kids who were now adults, we had one grandchild. We had great corporate jobs, a great life, but we wanted something more and things had changed.

-Have you ever had that feeling that you need to do more?

-Why do you think we made the move and where did we go?

-Would you pack up and leave where you are to find something different?
