"Hope of Escape," a dramatized documentary that follows the incredible journey of a mother and daughter who are running out of time and must escape the bonds of slavery before they are sold and separated forever.
Compensation & Union Contract Details
Professional Pay: $15 - $100/DailyLeads: Daily Stipend pay TBD plus travel and meals.
Supporting Cast: Stipend pay TBD plus travel, lodging, and meals.
Day players & extras: Meals provided.
No participation fees required.
The producers plan to apply for SAG-AFTRA Ultra Low Budget Project Agreement.
ELIZABETH "BETSY" MOORE: The lead character Wilby's warm, courageous, and endearing mother of 55 (range 40-60), who is an enslaved woman at Porter's Neck Plantation, and who gives her son the spiritual strength to leave Wilmington.
Ethnicity: Black / African Descent, Ethnically Ambiguous / Multiracial
Filming Location: Wilmington, NC - 1 day, between July 11-21, exact day TBD shortly
