I picked up my totally refurbished Twin Reverb (Silverface) from Jeff yesterday. I bought it new in the very early 1970's. The sound is jaw dropping and stunning. Tears of pure joy will flow when I have a beer or two with the next session. In this line of work there are technicians. There are also artists in every sense of the word who transform electronic challenges into musical magic. If you are looking for stellar work, a great price, and a wonderful person, your search is over. He did the same thing recently with my Vibrolux; rock on!!!!
Hey Jeff, Hope you & Yours are Well. Stay SAFE in all this craziness. Just got an Ampeg VT-40, is it cool to use 6L6GLCs in place of the 7027As? Thx, Mike
Jeff is the amp man in Atlanta. Period. Honest, straight up. Tells it like it is. Does what he says and always - results . Trustworthy too. Drop your baby off, wait for the call. Do it.
Much enjoyed meeting Jeff. Gave good advice on repair of an old Marhshall amp. The studio looks neat, too.
If the tubes are all good in my Marshall JVM410S, yet I am not getting any sound out of the amp, what could another problem be?
