The Preah That Teuk Cha temple was built during the reign of King Suryavarman I (1025 AD), located between two adjacent villages: Thma Da village, Boeung Nay commune, and Thmey village, Krouch commune, Prey Chhor district, 39 km from the provincial capital of Kampong Cham. Enter from the national road 13 km. At Krouch village, turn off the provincial road and turn right along the canal road for another 5 km to reach the Preah That Teuk Cha temple.
