BD Wong is Anti-Black AF!

He didn’t make a “bad joke.” He reached for the oldest racist trope in the book and compared a Black man to an animal. Then apologized without ever saying racist, anti-Black, or who he harmed.

And here’s the part folks avoid saying out loud:
Anti-Blackness isn’t a white-only problem.
It’s the prejudice almost everyone feels entitled to participate in, including other minorities who claim solidarity until it’s time to show it.

I am NOT here for it!

Let’s be real -- NO group has fought harder for America’s ideals than Black Americans. And no group has gotten less in return. 
 
From building its wealth while enslaved to fighting its wars without citizenship, we’ve carried this country on our backs -- only to be denied the full weight of our humanity. 
 
Freedom wasn’t gifted to us. We paid for it in blood, sweat, and brilliance. So when we say “we built this country,” we mean every word. 
 
Freedom isn’t a dream. It’s a debt — and America still owes.

Respectability politics isn’t a strategy, it’s the real religion of the oppressed.

A belief system built to keep us controlled, silent, and constantly auditioning for people who will mistreat us no matter how “perfect” we act.

We were told that if we dress right, talk right, behave right, we’ll finally be treated right.
But history tells a different story.

They killed us in suits and in hoodies.
In uniforms and in street clothes.
Respectability never saved us — it only distracted us.

Stop worshiping .
Start practicing freedom.

Major brands are canceling Black Friday deals because they can’t afford to discount, and YOU and I are covering the cost.

Why? Because Trump lied about tariffs, especially when he said Mexico and China would pay.

This is economic sabotage dressed up as patriotism.

Republicans pulled a stunt condemning “socialism.” Predictable. 
 
𝐁𝐮𝐭 𝟖𝟔 𝐃𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐜𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐬 𝐜𝐨-𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐭? 𝐓𝐡𝐚𝐭’𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐥 𝐛𝐞𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐲𝐚𝐥. 
 
You cannot call yourself the opposition if your first instinct is surrender. If they fold on a symbolic vote, imagine what happens next time when it’s real.

𝐀𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐚 𝐢𝐬𝐧’𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐢-𝐬𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐭. 𝐈𝐭’𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐢-𝐁𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐤. 
If this country were all white, socialism would be called “community care.” 
 
From the New Deal to the GI Bill to today’s meltdowns over student debt relief, this nation has always embraced massive government support, as long as the support flows up, not out. 
 
This isn’t an economic argument. 
It’s a racial one. 
And the receipts are loud enough to hear from space.

Some of our most visible voices aren’t liberating us, they’re confusing us. They’ve turned “keeping it real” into a brand, “neutrality” into a hustle, and “truth-telling” into performance art.

When your commentary consistently undercuts Black progress, sides with power, or soothes systems that harm us. That’s not courage. That’s capitulation.

Every mic ain’t a weapon. Some are a leash.
And the folks holding them? They’re walking themselves straight into irrelevance.

Pharrell calling politics a “magic trick” is exactly what happens when wealth shields you from consequences. It  ignores a HUGE simple truth too: politics shapes every part of Black life.

Black folks don’t get to opt out becauseolitics decides our rights, our resources, and our reality.

Neutrality isn’t noble, it’s privilege. And pretending otherwise is dangerous and downright disrespectful!

From Trump turning COVID into a political stunt --- to the lies, the hate, the chaos --- to ICE dragging daycare workers away in front of toddlers, this decade has taken a toll on our national psyche. 
 
This is what MAGA cost us: peace, stability, and our collective sanity.
