Congrats to Alabama State University quarterback Andrew Body on graduating and reaching another major milestone. His remarkable 2025 season earned him national recognition as: 2025 HBCU All-American, Stats Perform HBCU Player of the Year, BOXTOROW & SWAC Offensive Player of the Year. As he celebrates graduation and prepares to return to Alabama State this fall for his final season of eligibility, we're all excited to watch him continue building on an already historic legacy.

2026 is looking kind of 1963 right now. Voter suppression, racial gerrymandering, and attacks on Black political power are not new. These images are just eerily familiar because the struggle never fully ended. From Selma to today, our communities are still marching, organizing, and demanding fair representation. WE (we're talking to YOU) cannot be silent while maps are drawn to dilute Black voices and erase decades of progress.

Just a reminder, this list is from the "How America Cheated It's Black Colleges" article from Forbes back in 2022. Compared to their predominantly white counterparts, the nation’s Black land-grant universities have been underfunded by at least $12.8 BILLION over the last few decades (via estimates adjusted for inflation). Shameful!
