Do you have a delayed dream? ......7 years ago I started writing feature film scripts.. people in my little town that I told thought I was crazy.. except my mother of course... then I dreamed of acting in them and singing/writing the soundtracks.. I wished for diversity in casting.. to tell of hope to real people.....I wished for my husband to be able to lend his gifts somehow as well... you would think in the land of the free it would be easy right? Not at all....being a middle aged woman with a dream is not so hip....people promised me so much yet time and time again a delay would come....it seemed to be a dream worth giving up on often... FAST forward and 7 years later we are editing my first film as Producer and Cowriter with my best half DIRECTOR/DP PATRICK DAVIS.. God fulfilled his promise to bring forth those dreams of telling HOPEFUL stories but very differently than hollywood or bollywood makes us think the process of dreams fulfilled works......the RIGHT team of globally diverse actors, collaborating musicians and amazing locations all came together. I thank everyone who became my team to bring this sweet film to life. When released, I hope you love these characters as much as each actor did while shooting the film. Waiting and preparation are something not many of us enjoy..... 15 months ago I made many many Instagram videos on my balcony in Nashville for fun.....with a few friends texting saying they liked them and a producer at WACTV saying he loved the content but we needed to make them longer and broadcast audio quality... my adorable husband and creative partner made it happen..... It is easier than ever to wish another’s destiny or passion for yourself... social media makes it too easy for envy to come upon us.....but sometimes a person’s life can inspire us and then we can take this inspiration and pray and wait for our unique purpose to unfold... God created us to be faithful and consistent. Movies portray love as all passion but true love is complex and not shallow.
