Two years ago I lost someone that words cannot express how much he meant to me! I sometimes wish I could have more time with you Travis!! You were so special and you always made me a better person and definitely a happier person! I’m sure you are flying around up there in the clouds!! Our goals were in alignment and I wish you were still here so we can change the world. I feel like I have fell off that path and I wish I had the determination to keep doing what we had planned. You touched so many people and you made so many people better day by day! You are truly missed everyday!! Love you forever brother! TRUST FOREVER!!

So I traded my Tahoe in for a Yukon Denali! This is literally the same car with a lot more bells and whistles! My Tahoe was the best vehicle I have ever had so I wanted something very similar because it’s such an amazing vehicle!!

In honor of one of the most amazing people I have ever had the privilege to have in my life ! I can’t tell you how much I miss you in words!! I wish I can just have another moment with you again! Losing you is definitely one of the hardest times of my life and I have grown and become a better person because of it! We were going to change the world together. So this weekend was an emotional and amazing experience! This year I didn’t have my best friend,Travis yelling at me and coaching me through my run and going through beta on the sidelines. He was truly missed in his physical form but I felt him spiritually the whole time. I feel like he has been there through my whole season! I miss him so much and I really wanted to win this championship this year for him! I came up a little short with a 2nd place result. I want to say thank you to all the amazing support that came to see me and all at home cheering me on. I love all of you so much! Here is my 2nd place run. TRUST FOREVER!! Love you brother!!

My life has had so many unforgettable moments and memories!! A large amount of the best times of my life have been with my person ! On Saturday, I asked her to spend the rest of her life with me! This season has been a whirlwind for my life! Every time I step up to the starting line I picture my best friend standing there next to me. I miss you so much ! Not having you there yelling at me and telling me when to breath and how much time I have is something I will miss forever!! This season I am dedicating every moment I am on a course to you. This past 7 months have been an overwhelming amount of loss in my life. My beloved father died two days ago in my arms.

He was 72 years old and in a immense amount of pain from multiple organ failure. After 2 years of frequent hospitalizations and being on dialysis and multiple other issues he left this world to be with god. We didn’t know whether it would be weeks or months, but we expected his death, and had prepared for it in the time leading up to it. The day he died, I was there to kiss his cheeks and massage his forehead, to hold his hand and say goodbye. I was at his bedside when he took his last breath which I can’t ask for a better way to have him leave this world. My mom rubbing his head and me holding him in my arms as he peacefully stop breathing was amazing and one off the saddest moments of my life at the same time. To have his last breath in my arms was a blessing I am so grateful for!!

He was the hardest working man I ever met. He gave my family and I the most amazing life and gave us so many opportunities to flourish in life. He taught me to always give my 110% whenever I do anything. I am so thankful for his dedication to be a great father. He was always such a goofball when we were having fun. You will be truly missed. I am so happy he isn’t in pain anymore!

The last nine weeks were an absolute roller coaster in my life. Losing my best friend has been one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to deal with. Travis was so close to me and we had our lives aligned in the same path. Having to change my life and move on to a different path has been a very hard and some thing that I was not ready for. Travis is such an amazing person I still to this day don’t know how I will celebrate and honor such an individual. So Ninjaquest and I are teaming up to throw a competition in his name so everybody can have a chance to honor him by running a Ninja course in his name. I couldn’t think of a better way to honor such an individual that was so in love with the sport and everybody in it. This competition will be not only a day to run in his name but its going to allow us all to celebrate, mourn and talk about how great he was to all of us and to the world that we live in. I’m so excited for this time and this competition for all of us to get together and celebrate my best friend! Hope to see you guys all there!
