Matthew Carter Jones is an Atlanta based actor/singer/director. Born in 1992, Matthew has been an avid and seasoned performer for most of his young life. After attending Young Harris College and studying in the theater program, Matthew has become a fixture in the Atlanta regional theater, earning distinction and critical praise for such roles as Seymour Krellborn (Little Shop of Horrors), and John Wilkes Booth (Assassins). His most recent roles include an acclaimed turn as Danforth in Arthur Miller's The Crucible. Matthew has also appeared in the film world as part of the stunt team as well as a featured walker on AMC's The Walking Dead. He is thrilled to be involved with the Listen, Sugar! team and working with his good friend Christian Addison Higgins once more.

MEET THE CAST AND CREW OF Listen, Sugar! Each day for the rest of our Kickstarter campaign, we'll be letting you know more about each member of our great cast. Today, we introduce you to Amber L. DeVos, who plays Amber Divine.
Amber grew up in scenic Portland, Maine where she mostly complained to her parents about being cold for the majority of her childhood. She learned to ski at a very young age and her mom remembers how amazed she was at Amber’s speed and how Amber would fly by her, poles up, most times never even making a single turn from the time she got off the chair lift until she made it to the bottom of the mountain. Needless to say, Amber would have her skis and boots off and be sitting by the fire long before anyone else was even close to finishing their run. Amber really does feel very blessed to have lived in New England and actually continues to ski as an adult even though she calls Atlanta home. As an adult, however she has the wits to carry glove and shoe warmers with her, and a flask.
Amber kicked off her acting career as Maggie, in Cat on a Hot Tin Roof in a community theater in Helena, MT. She fell in love with performing and the terrifying, yet intimate process of the character becoming a part of her. There is never a dull moment with Amber as she loves to laugh and it is in no way a quiet laugh but it is definitely contagious. She is forever a student and will forever be wide eyed when learning and talking about the incredible world of acting and the Arts. She loves acting but loves her family more. Actually, it may go: Family, Animals, Acting. She really loves Animals too.

Meet Dan Kilgore and Danny Kilgore. Dan is a single father trying to raise his son the best way he knows how. He is a hardworking southern man who doesn't always make the best parenting decisions and he's not always sure how to show his emotions.
Danny Jr. is an awkward high school senior who is struggling to fit in while his father and his church are trying to push him to be something he is not. Danny loves his father but he is very scared of disappointing him.
The story of Danny and his father, which is told in a VERY funny way in 'Listen, Sugar' is a story that many gay teenagers can relate to. Coming out and being your own man is often difficult when you have so many people telling you what they think you should be.

David Alexander is an American actor in television and film. Born in Beckley, West Virginia, David and his family were relocated by the Army to coastal Georgia when he was very young. While growing up, David always had a love for radio, television, and theatre. He was very active in theatre in high school and college and performed in community theatre after graduation. He spent a decade in live radio as an on-air talent for stations such as WAEV-FM and WBLU-FM in Savannah, Georgia as well as WZGC-FM in Atlanta. David is actively working in film and television and has appeared in the films 'The Locksmith,' the award-winning 'One Last Time,' 'Newborne County,' and 'Permanence.' His television credits include Swamp Murders, Fatal Encounters, and The Following. He has also recently completed pilots for NBC as well as the indie television pilot The 4th Quarter. David is the co-founder of ChiggyVision Motion Picture Company.
As a side note, in addition to being an actor, David is a master barber who currently holds the Guinness World Record for Most Heads Shaved in One Hour (which he did LIVE on the Today Show on NBC on April 9, 2014.

Actor Christian Higgins, who makes his "leading role" debut in Sugar, is the son of Pam and Jim Higgins. He has a twin sister, Carley, and an older brother, Bo. He was educated at McEachern High School in Georgia. Christian initially started acting in stage plays, musicals, and live performances when he was a teenager. After high school, in June 2011, Christian enlisted in the U.S. Army Reserve. He transitioned into film acting in February 2012 after completing Army training. Since then he has worked extensively to further his experience and knowledge in the film industry. In March of 2012 Christian doubled for Kevin Bacon in the pilot episode of "The Following." That role jump-started his career and gave him an even stronger motivation to continue following his passion for acting. Chris is the co-founder of ChiggyVision Motion Picture Company (his nickname is "Chiggy," hence the Chiggy part of ChiggyVision).

So, now that the cat is out of the bag about Christian Addison Higgins' upcoming deployment, you can see why there is a sense of urgency to secure funding for our film 'Listen, Sugar!' (in which Christian Higgins plays the lead). We've got 16 days and $7,000 to go if we are to get this film done before he leaves. Our goal is to complete filming in June and have a public screening in Atlanta before he deploys. Cabral (who is going to be HYSTERICAL). You're going to love this film!

Chiggyvision Motion Picture Company is a proud sponsor of this year's St. Baldrick's children's cancer research fundraiser at Ri Ra Irish Pub in Atlanta. Our own co-founder David Alexander (who, because he is an actor, can't shave his head) has pledged that if he raises over $2,500 he will get the St. Baldrick's logo tattooed on his right arm. Go make a donation on his behalf.... and mark your calendar for next Thursday, March 13th (6pm - 10pm). Over 300 men and women will go bald for the cause of curing kids' cancer.
