Conflux LARP

Urban Fantasy Medium touch boffer LARP based in Atlanta, GA Conflux is hosted by Fat Baby LARP, LLC. We are a medium-touch urban fantasy adventure LARP.

Player characters are the monsters: stalking the city streets to feed, keeping human hunters at bay, and fighting off greater bestial threats. The game is constructed with an overarching plot where player actions will have far-reaching consequences on the game environment. What your characters do will forever alter the world around them. Please note that unless otherwise stated, all events are 18+.

As a side note, we know that the holidays are coming up and that money is tight for a lot of people. As a reminder - full time monstering is always free. Additionally, if you monster two events, you'll get your third event free.

If you do have some extra $$$ to donate, we would appreciate it. Fat Baby needs to reserve six more events for next year, and we have to put 50% down in order to reserve the parks. That means we're about to drop another (approx) $3,300 - $4,500 to reserve sites for next year. We've been either almost or barely breaking even on running the events, but that's definitely more than is currently in the checking account. Running LARPs is *expensive*.

Any money donated over the standard ticket price ($65) will enter you in a raffle to win fun art stuff!

We review all the feedback we get and are actively using it to make the game better. We appreciate you taking the time to let us know what you think! It really helps us to know what you liked most (so we can do more of it), what didn't seem to be working right, and how you think it could be better. We are...behind on posting feedback and our responses, but it is definitely still part of the plan!

On another note - we're changing the way we keep track of consent for publishing images and videos we take at games to try to streamline the process. We're asking each player to fill out this form: https://forms.gle/1bwMSsQcFN7wXrb26

We are asking for selfies in the image/video form so that we can identify who is in each of the images/videos that we take at events. We really want to do our best to make sure we're not publishing photos of folks who don't want their photos published, and the only way we can do that is if we know what those folks look like.

Each player only *needs* to fill out the photo/video consent form once. However, the form is set so that you can edit your responses, so if something in your life changes you can always go back and update it. Additionally, if there is ever a *specific* photo of you that you want us to take down, just let us know and we will delete it.

Once we get event attendees' consent preferences recorded via the form above, we will post images of the last event!

Hello beloved Conflux associates! We are officially ONE WEEK AWAY from our third beta game! AHHHH!

We have two important things for y'all:

1) If you've reached out to Ashley this week and/or have had questions that have required Ashley's input and/or sent an email, we're sorry that responses have been slow. Ashley has been dealing with some personal medical-related nonsense since Monday, and frankly has been MIA because they've been scrambling to deal with it. They're gonna do their best to catch up over the weekend. However - if questions remain unanswered before the event we apologize in advance. We basically lost five days of prep time because the American medical system is garbage even when you do have health insurance.

2) Please remember to get your registration, character cards, and starting items in by THIS SUNDAY AT 11:59PM. We ask for registrations, card updates, and starting items list by Sunday evening so that we have enough time to prep them before the event so that check in doesn't get stupid. You *do not have to pay* by this Sunday - you just have to get in your paperwork.
