It’s been awhile since I did any camera work, luckily my son is doing a Fall competitive Lacrosse team….so 3 away tournaments 🙂 I still love shooting with my NX80 but My eyes have been wondering. So much good camera hardware out there right now for a good price. I am leaning towards a Sony a6700 mirrorless…came close to getting one a little while back…but did not pull the trigger.

It has been awhile since I have done any camera op work. So what do I do....find some stuff to shoot. A good one for me is shooting Lacrosse games. My son provides the games and I get to shoot. For a while there I was shooting the whole game, editing it into a single game file and providing it to other parents and players on my sons team, but it is a hard sport to casually film from the sidelines. The ball is traveling so fast...blink and you lost your framing. I think I will just try and get some good highlights of my son for his reel!

So I finally got the boat lift up and put 4 500lb straps on it….once it dries out I can fix the leaking valve that delivers the air to the tub…next week….new cover for the pig!

So the battery in my old (pre Apple silicon chip) Macbook Pro will not hold a charge anymore. Time to get a new one. If this was a newer laptop that I use all the time like my M1 machine, I would get one from OWC Mac Sales....but since I only use it for some legacy software from time to time, I found one half the price on Amazon. I'll check it out and report my findings :)

Came across this flyer I did for a sight hound performance event I was part of back in 2008 in Cartersville GA....I thought it would be cool to AI-ify it and see what I could get....I played around with the wording of the prompts and version 3 was done. Not bad, but I need to have more control and consistency to be able to produce production ready content. More to come....feedback?

As long as I am posting all this boat content….I might as well post a clip of it running….because it sounds so sweet. I am going to do some much needed projects coming up here soon. So expect a bunch of pig videos.

Posting that clip floating around in the Pig the other day made me think of this clip from 4th of July back in 2017.....I love the angle and the way it was bobbing like a cork. Was not worried at all since my buddy John McAlpine set the bumpers...total pro! The Pig was looking good that day.

I wanted to post a couple of clips that I shot with the Hero 13 Black… to show how sweet it is. I just grabbed a few and quickly processed them...I will post more when I have a chance to look at it more thoroughly back in my studio!
