What’s Black and white and red all over? No, Silly goose, not a newspaper! The new “Traditions” fabric line from Quiltworx! OR…If you’re looking to enter a quilt in Houston’s Red White and Blue exhibit this year, this is the fabric line for you! Red, black, and white; red, white, and blue; blue and white, and my personal favorite (Hey, Sorors!🔺🐘) red and white. Here’s a video with new and old patterns made from this line. Soooo yummy! I’m going to have to live to be a hundred to make all these quilts! Or sew faster!

Here’s Cricket’s completed Waterwheel from our Southern Caribbean cruise in March! I love the fabric with the writing on it! It says “Serenity” “Courage” “Wisdom.” I have some of that fabric and I’ve been using it on masks. Great job, Cricket!

Wanda B, one of the students in my Fractured Paintbox class on the cruise to Alaska with Quilt Seminars at Sea, shared pictures of her completed quilt. She chose colors to remind her of the beautiful Alaskan waters. This was her first time paper piecing! Fantastic job, Wanda!

Talk about a full circle moment! My first class with Judy was at Empty Spools at Asilomar in 2008, and now I'm teaching her patterns there! It takes a village! Thank you Pam Champoux, Debra Denton Hall, and ATL Peeps who were in my first official CI-TOM Glacier Star class: Melinda Rushing, Marva M Swanson, Brenda Shelby, O.V. Brantley, Mary Maynard, Aleathia Chisolm, Janice Daniel, Nina Moore.. And a huge shoutout to Ilyse from Quiltworx who did such a great job of putting this together.

And we’re off! 2019 Alaska cruise with Quilt Seminars at Sea! I was soooo good at lunch - a healthy salad with balsamic dressing! We’re playing follow the leader with this beautiful Princess ship!

Joy from the Mt. Tam Quilt Guild, did a beautiful job with her Prismatic Star. I LOVE the secondary pattern she created by turning all the light points out instead of in. Beautiful!

Debbie, who took my class with the Mt. Tam Quilt Guild, won a blue ribbon for her Christmas fabric Fractured Star at the Marin County Fair! Didn’t she do a great job? And the quilting is to die for!
