DO IT SCARED! Earlier this year I prayed that 2024 would bring me experiences that stretched me, meaning-took me out of my established comfort zone. Well, this past Friday, I did just that!

Although I've sang in front a crowds of over 20,000, on national television and it front of MANY HUGE AUDIENCES....those were much easier than what I'm about to describe:

Last week, a client ordered an in-person Vocal Bouquet.... Okay, no biggie....that's what I do! WELL, this one was:

1. AT BENIHANA ...the Peachtree Buckhead Location (for my ATL FOLKS)
2. AT 7:30PM
3. ON A FRIDAY!
4. IYKYK...

I was nervous to say the least. Walk in a crowded restaurant and begin singing??!! My thoughts: someone may be getting proposed to or broken up with or celebrating a promotion or being comforted through a difficult time... in short, what if i'm infringing on a moment.

My beautiful son sent me a bible verse (Deuteronomy 31 8) and that and God were all I needed to execute to perfection! My fear subsided and anxiousness remained but babyyy, I enjoyed every moment, the family loved it and the restaurant patrons did too! Most of all, I faced a fear and went and stood on business and the Word of my God! I hope this inspires, encourages and uplifts someone.
