Dear Rumours ATL fans, friends and family,
After 11 years of dedication and commitment, our Christine and one of the band’s founding members, Adrienne Cottrell, has made the very difficult decision to step away from Rumours ATL to focus on her family.
Our string of Virginia shows July 30, July 31 and August 1 will be Adrienne’s last dates with the band and we want you all there to help us give her a proper, loving send off.
Adrienne’s efforts and passion for this project cannot be understated. She handled so many of the behind the scenes and mundane administrative tasks of a band with a schedule of our size. She spent countless hours making sure we all had safe and comfortable places to rest, picking up rental vans, coordinating the purchase of our bus, payroll, taxes - you name it.
She sacrificed so much of her time to do all of these things out of a deep care for the project - but especially out of a deep love for the people in it.
From a musical standpoint, Christine is not an easy role to step into, let alone hold down. Stevie is the heart, Lindsey is the brain - but Christine is the soul. And soul is something you just can’t fake. You have to access it, embody it and then give yourself over to the music.
Whenever Adrienne got on stage, she would tackle the lion’s share of material with a technical attention to detail, an emotional connection that was authentic and genuine, and a loving reverence for the songs that when combined shined brighter than the lights we play under.
A fan favorite from coast to coast, we know you guys will miss her - but not as much as we will miss our true and beloved friend.
We love you, Adrienne and we wish you all the love in the world.

Keep your eyes peeled for when we’re coming to your town… and for our new Christine. 👀
