Dear Rumours ATL fans, friends and family,

We are beyond excited to introduce you to our new Stevie - Sami Michelsen!

Sami has toured internationally as a vocalist with Mother’s Finest for the last 7 years and has performed with the likes of Foreigner, Collective Soul, Bernard Purdie, as well as members of the Doors and Crosby, Stills and Nash.

She also happens to be our bass player Sean’s sister!

Earlier this month, Sami hopped on a plane at a moment’s notice, stepped off the tarmac, onto the stage and immediately meshed with the rest of the band. With Sami committed to the band, we are moving forward undeterred and cannot wait for you to meet her!

Help us welcome Sami into the Rumours ATL family and be sure to catch us at a venue near you!

We know you’ll love her just as much as we do.

Dear Rumours ATL fans, friends and family,

A few weeks ago our vocalist, Mekenzie Zimmerman, let us know that she had made the difficult decision to retire from the band this year to focus on her family and start a new chapter.

We want to thank Mekenzie for all her hard work over the years and for sharing her incredible talent with us. We wish her nothing but the best in her new endeavors.

Going forward, things will change. But our love for these songs, our love for our craft and above all else - our love for our fans - will remain the same. We aren’t going anywhere.

As Mekenzie requested of us in her resignation letter, we plan to “…continue to spread the beautiful music that we have made for these past 11 years and continue to flourish as the people and incredible musicians you are.”

That is exactly what we intend to do.

Happy 79th Birthday to John McVie! The “Mac” in Fleetwood Mac, John has had a storied career and is one of the few original members to still be in the band over 50 years later. He even met Christine McVie through touring with Fleetwood Mac, eventually marrying her and convincing her to join the band also. John began playing the bass at age 14. He had his first paid gigs playing weddings and parties with the local band The Krewsaders in Ealing, West London. He is known today as one of the greatest bass players of all time, having been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1998. He currently resides in Brentwood, CA along with his wife of over 40 years, Julie Ann Reubens.
