My background as a journalist spans 27 years; 22 of them as a sound technician and 24 as a video editor working international and domestic stories for CNN. While at CNN I’ve covered events on 5 continents as a sound technician and/or video editor from war zones to entertainment, from breaking news to long form documentaries.
Now as a freelancer I’ve worked extensively with CBS News but also with 60 Minutes (A1 and A2), 60 Minutes Sports, 48 Hours, Dateline, ESPN, and various corporate and independent productions.
I’m comfortable with all Shure and most Sound Devices mixers, Lectrosonics wirelesses and various lav, boom, and stick mics.
As a journalist I’ve also given speaking engagements to Univ. of Georgia and Univ. of West Georgia.
To every assignment I bring extensive editorial and technical knowledge to all events working under all conditions.
