Seven years ago, we said yes to an idea we couldn’t fully see.
Today, we say goodbye with hearts fuller than we ever imagined.
To every person who listened on your commute, during a walk, while folding laundry, through heartbreak, career changes, friendship breakups, engagements, weddings, new babies, seasons of waiting, and seasons of joy… thank you.
Thank you for inviting us into your lives. Thank you for trusting us with your stories. Thank you for growing alongside us.
Most of all, thank You, God.
Thank You for taking two ordinary women with a simple desire to love You and love people well, and allowing us to witness Your faithfulness over and over again. Every conversation, every opportunity, every friendship, every message from someone saying, “I needed that today,” was evidence that You were always the One doing the work.
And to each other…
What a gift it has been to build this with my best friend. Thank you for every early morning recording, every hard conversation, every wild idea, every prayer, every laugh that made us restart an episode, and every moment we reminded each other why God calls us to go together. Wouldn’t trade this journey for anything.
To our Rooted family: this isn’t goodbye to what God has done—it’s gratitude for what He did and faith for what He’s doing next.
As we close this chapter, we leave with the same prayer we’ve prayed from the beginning:
May your roots grow deep in Christ. May your life bear fruit that lasts. And may you never forget that the God who planted the seed is faithful to bring it to harvest.
