We just wrapped our first shoot in Miami with Chris & Carla Sloan, and while the cameras were rolling on some powerful moments…we also wanted to take a second to introduce part of the crew helping bring Messages in the Silence to life.
It takes a small army (and a lot of coffee) to tell stories like these.
First up — Willie Giles. Director, owner of PPP&E, Emmy Award winner, logistical mastermind, and certified foodie. The man who keeps the entire operation moving along with US by playing the best tunes through every shoot!
Next — Dana Sokolowski. Producer, shooter, dancer, matcha enthusiast and our newest New Yorker. Dana is the calm brain behind the chaos, making sure every story gets captured while somehow still making time to find the best restaurants in every city we land in.
Behind the lens — Ray Scott. Our Director of Photography and visual storyteller. Ray’s the one shaping the look and feel of the film, framing the moments that make these stories resonate long after the cameras stop rolling.
On Camera & Grip Dept we have - Jon Feathers — world traveler, crew driver, and the steady hands behind the gear. He’s lived in more countries than most of us have visited, gets the whole team where we need to go, and somehow never eats breakfast.
