You can tell a lot about a horse before you ever put your hands on them… but you can tell everything once you do.

Tension doesn’t always show up as lameness.
Sometimes it looks like:
– picking up the wrong lead
– refusing a simple cue
– acting “cinchy” or girthy
– tossing their head for “no reason”
– or just feeling off under saddle

This is exactly why I do equine massage.

Getting messages like this never gets old. Watching a horse go from discomfort, resistance, or attitude… to relaxed, willing, and happy to work again — that’s the goal every single time.

Captain didn’t pin his ears once, stayed soft, and went out for a ride feeling GOOD. That’s what happens when their body is finally able to move the way it’s supposed to and they aren’t anticipating pain.

And I have to say — Hailey has been absolutely incredible to work with. Consistent, patient, and truly listening to what her horse needs. That kind of owner makes all the difference in results like this.
